DarkRP Rules

Justified DarkRP Server Rules

Definitions:

  • RDM (Random Death Match):
    • Definition: Killing another player without a valid roleplay reason.
  • RDA (Random Arrest):
    • Definition: Arresting another player without a valid roleplay reason.
  • NLR (New Life Rule):
    • Definition: Restrictions placed on a player after they respawn following a death.
  • FailRP:
    • Definition: Acting unrealistically or out of character within the roleplay environment.
  • FearRP:
    • Definition: Failing to act appropriately in threatening situations.
  • Metagaming:
    • Definition: Using out-of-character information to gain an in-game advantage.
  • Prop Climbing/Surfing:
    • Definition: Using props to reach unintended areas or gain unfair advantages.
  • Prop Spamming:
    • Definition: Spawning excessive props to cause lag, block areas, or disrupt gameplay.
  • Ghosting:
    • Definition: Providing information to other players while dead or spectating.
  • KOS (Kill On Sight):
    • Definition: Killing another player without prior roleplay interaction.
  • Powergaming:
    • Definition: Unrealistically maximizing in-game advantages or ignoring natural limitations.

General Rules

1.Do NOT RDM.
2. Do NOT RDA.
3. Do NOT break NLR.
4. Do NOT spam chat or mic spam.
5. Do NOT troll/minge.
6. Cheating of any form will result in a Permanent Ban!
7. Threatening to attack the server or community, even in a joking manner, will result in a Permanent Ban!
8. Staff members have the final decision in all situations.
9. Soundboards/Voice Changers are strictly forbidden.
10. Racism/Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
11. Trolling/Minging will not be tolerated.
12. Advertisement of other communities/servers will result in a Permanent Ban!
13. Phys-Gun color abuse is not allowed.
14. Terrorists are only allowed to use C4 in a terror.
15. Treat others the way you want to be treated (AKA respectfully)
16. Do not tamper with the adverts (You must only use the default advert text).
17. Scamming is not allowed.
18. Riots are not allowed.
19. Being AFK while taking up a job slot could lead to a demotion or kick.
20. No trading in-game cash or any type of in-game currency via IRL.
21. RP names must be a minimum of 3 English characters.
22. Baiting or encouraging another player to break the rules, will not be accepted.
23. Do not target players for the listed activates (Activates include raids, kidnaps and government raids).
24. AFK money farming is not allowed (First offense: Kick Second Offense: Kick/Warn Third Offense: Ban)
25. Do not falsely demote someone.
26. Multi-Adverts are not allowed (Ex. Raid/Mug/Kidnap/Over)
27. GOLDEN RULE: Use Common Sense!

Building Rules

Rule Specifics

NLR Rules
  • NLR time is 3 minutes.
  • If you die in a raid, you may not return to the location until the raid has finished.
  • NLR counts as interacting with that player in ANY way while you have NLR
Mugging Rules
  • Maximum mugging amount: £50,000
  • Advertise your mugging attempt in chat
  • Allow the victim 10 seconds to comply
  • Lethal force is permitted if the victim flees or draws a weapon
  • Government Officials and Hobos are off-limits
  • 10-minute cooldown between muggings
  • 15-minute cooldown before mugging the same person
Hitman Rules
  • Maximum hit price: £500,000
  • HitmansHitmen may only raid if the target is inside a base
  • Requesting hits on specific players is prohibited
  • Repeatedly targeting the same person is not allowed
Kidnapping Rules

  • You can only hold a person for 15 minutes.

  • You must wait 10 minutes between each kidnapping.

  • You must wait 25 minutes before kidnapping the same person again.

Raiding Rules
  • You have 15 minutes to complete a raid.
  • You may not raid a base with a building sign.
  • Do not raid a base if it has no raid-able entities.
  • You must wait 20 minutes before raiding the same person.
  • Do not raid to kill an individual (Unless you are a hired Hitman)
  • May only raid Police Department if there are 3+ police
  • You may not return to a raid after death; this is NLR.
  • You must wait 30 minutes before raiding PD/Bank again.
Terror Rules
  • You may ONLY Terror Attack as a terrorist!
  • You may only Terror Attack every 10 minutes.
  • This is not a raiding class; You may not assist in any raids or mug anyone.
  • You MUST advert Terror Attack and advert when it's over.
  • You only have 30 seconds of terror.
Take Over/Mega Bases Rules
  • If you own 2+ houses, it is considered a megabase and requires permission from a staff member.
  • Any base that has two non-connecting floors is considered two houses (Ex. The house in The Hood)
Area Rules
  • Spawn: You may not take over any of this area.
  • Downtown: Only police can take over areas in downtown. (You may only have one checkpoint for each police officer)
  • Garden: You may not take over any of this area.
  • Park: You may not take over any of this area.
  • Beach: You may take over. However, you must allow access to roads, sidewalks, and NPCs.
  • Residential: Only parts of Residential can be taken over. However, you must allow access to roads, sidewalks, and NPCs. (1 Individual per house)
  • The Hood: You may take over. Although you must allow access to roads, sidewalks, and NPCs (1 Individual per house)
  • Slums: You may take over. Although you must allow access to roads, sidewalks, and NPCs (1 Individual per house)
  • Favela: You may take over this area, although you must have the permission of 6 people and staff.
  • Industrial: You may take over this area, although you must have permission from five people and staff.
  • Sewers: You may not take over any of this area.
Government Rules

Stunstick abuse is not allowed.
As a government official, you must uphold the law.
You may not own any building.
As a government official, you do not need to advertise the counter.
You may not be a corrupt official.
You may not randomly weapon check. You must have an RP reason.
7. Gun Licenses may only cost a maximum amount of 10k
Raid cool downs listed above apply to the government.
You may not own black-market weapons.
1ou may break NLR by 1 minute when there is a Bank/PD raid.
You must have a valid reason to warrant a base. (Noise-based warrants are allowed)
A Bit Miner is not illegal.
Once the president dies, the default laws listed below are in place.
You may arrest anyone outside during a lockdown after a warning is said orally or through chat.
